My Experiences at Amelith

“First of all, I feel truly at home at St. John. This past summer of 2024, I was incredibly blessed to receive the position of Director and Preschool Teacher at Amelith. I was overjoyed to step into this role, and each day I’m reminded of how fortunate I am to teach God’s little children about His love and grace.

Although it may seem like I’m new to St. John, I can assure you I am not. My roots run deep here. My family’s heritage began at St. John—every summer, the Leinberger family gathered for reunions at the St. John’s Pavilion. I’m also connected to the Hutter family on my dad’s side. With those family ties, I have many cherished memories of growing up at St. John. So, when I was offered the position of Preschool Teacher and Director, it truly felt like coming home. It felt right—like a gift from God.

I am blessed to work with a wonderful team: Bonnie Herbolsheimer, Trina Scharich, Diane Rau, and Kim Mehl. They are a true blessing—each one brings their own gifts, and together, we make a strong and united team. We understand the importance of working together and the impact we can make in the lives of our little ones.

The word family can mean many things, but to me, it means having a foundation built on Jesus Christ. This foundation has been passed down through generations of believers, and I feel called to continue that legacy. I believe with all my heart that God has a purpose for me—to share His love and His Word with others, especially the youngest hearts at St. John.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to share God’s love with our children and their families. And with God’s help, we’ll continue to do just that.”
